Canon Develops World’s Largest CMOS Sensor - The new sensor beside a 35mm Full Frame Sensor
In the past, enlarging the size of the sensor resulted in an increase in the amount of time required between the receiving and transmission of data signals, which posed a challenge to achieving high-speed readout. Canon, however, solved this problem through an innovative circuit design, making possible the realization of a massive video-compatible CMOS sensor. Additionally, by ensuring the cleanest of cleanroom environments during the production process, the sensor minimizes image imperfections and dust.
[Stevie Ray Vaughan] …was supposed to leave by bus, but Clapton’s crew had a helicopter with an extra seat and he took it. That helicopter took five people including Vaughan, and they were all killed. The official cause of Vaughan’s death was loss of blood as a result of a severed aorta.
A great rundwon of the history of all these weird symbols that we have for our computers: Bluetooth, FireWire, At, Command, and even the hypnowheel of death.
“These photographs of albatross chicks were made on Midway Atoll, a tiny stretch of sand and coral near the middle of the North Pacific. The nesting babies are fed bellies-full of plastic by their parents, who soar out over the vast polluted ocean collecting what looks to them like food to bring back to their young. On this diet of human trash, every year tens of thousands of albatross chicks die on Midway from starvation, toxicity, and choking. To document this phenomenon as faithfully as possible, none of the plastic in any of these photographs was moved, placed, manipulated, arranged, or altered in any way. These images depict the untouched stomach contents of baby birds in one of the world’s most remote marine sanctuaries, more than 2000 miles from the nearest continent.”

“Owners of the iPhone will be able to legally break electronic locks on their devices in order to download software applications that haven’t been approved by Apple Inc., according to new government rules announced Monday.
The decision to allow the practice commonly known as “jailbreaking” is one of a handful of new exemptions from a 1998 federal law that prohibits people from bypassing technical measures that companies put on their products to prevent unauthorized uses. The Library of Congress, which oversees the Copyright Office, reviews and authorizes exemptions every three years to ensure that the law does not prevent certain non-infringing use of copyright-protected material.”
They finally started to have success capping the oil spill which is a great step forward. The fact that Palin would try and say that the “Radical environmentalists” are “…damaging the planet with your efforts to lock up safer drilling areas, and Americans are on to you as we question your true motives.”
What other motive might one have beside to corner people into other sources of energy, not to force more dangerous drilling. What alternative motive would these “radicals” even have?
This is of course after blaming the radicals for outsourcing jobs! HAHAHAHA Because “…you outsource jobs and opportunity away from America and into foreign countries that are making us beholden to them. Some of these countries don’t like America.”
Thanks Palin, I know some of these countries don’t like us, and a big part of it is because of you and your yahoo party who keeps trying to commandeer their land or keeps tossing money at their enemies. Secondly most of your CEO buddys that would rather buy another yacht then pay an American a decent wage were most likely the ones who drove the considerable amount of jobs out of the US.
Not to mention what happens once you do start drilling. Her comparison of a stamp on a football field doesn’t sound terrible, until you keep planting those stamps. Before too soon you have 27,000 unused “stamps,” except their big, atrocious oil rigs.
